I cannot tell you how many times I got this particular ice cream flavor from this particular ice cream shop in New York over the summer. Sundaes and Cones inevitably became my destination for a casual walk after dinner, the ice cream shop to introduce to my visiting friends, and my go-to store when I craved, no, needed, green tea flavored ice cream. I probably spent a good chunk of my summer paycheck on this $4.10-a-cone ice cream. I’m gone now, but the smooth, creamy green tea taste will surely not be forgotten.
P.S. Read my NYC Food Adventures if you’re in the city and need a recommendation!

$4.10 a cone?!!?! I guess it’s no different than Starbucks. So green! :] // ▲ itsCarmen.com ▲

I know right? It was ridiculously overpriced but I paid it any way. Some things are too hard to resist =\

Green tea ice-cream. I wonder why everyone is raving about it. But I’ll admit it – it does look good in your photo! It’s a great shot, so much clarity in it. $4.10 for a single scoop of ice-cream sounds pricey, but from the sounds of it, the ice-creams tastes out of this world 🙂

It was an acquired taste for me – but once I got used to it I loved it. Thanks for dropping by!

Bummer =( They’re typically known as an “Asian” ice cream flavor and can be found in Asian food markets. Not as good as an ice cream store’s though!
