It’s JPei has moved to http://blog.jessicapei.com under the new name WONDERMENTARY.
Yes, I finally made the switch to the self-hosted WordPress.org. Go check it out!
What if I follow “It’s JPei?” Will I be able to follow you on WONDERMENTARY?
Yes! You will be automatically switched to follow WONDERMENTARY, so you don’t have to do a thing. However, if you subscribed to It’s JPei by email, you’ll have to re-subscribe (subscription button in the footer).
All new posts will now be on WONDERMENTARY, so say au revoir to It’s JPei! A new era has begun…

April has been a relatively quiet month, compared to all the activities of March. In general, my semester is wrapping up so things are winding down! But before I leave (with a bang), there’s still a slew of fun events exclusively for seniors lined up – waaay too excited to study for finals right now! I’ll try to post those updates here. For now, here’s a review of April:
Watched my last show at the Fox, Kinky Boots.
More roommate bonding!
A visit to the Kemper Art Museum before I leave…
Practice in macro photography.
There’s always more places in this city left to be explored! Glad to cross this one off the bucketlist.
I began a new series of photography-related posts, as I’ve been getting some questions related to this topic. I’m no expert, but I am happy to share what I know.
I’d like to know if you’d want to see more photography posts and tutorials in the future? What would you like to know more about?
Thanks for reading!
If you’ve been following the blog for a while, then you’d know that my big event this month was the spring break California road trip! All of the posts from this trip are listed below, as well as other shenanigans from the month of March.
First, I continued eating my way around St. Louis:
Then began the epic California road trip:
First off, San Francisco’s Chinatown!
Making the most out of our last day in SF!
Movin’ on to Monterey
Some of the clearest, most beautiful, blue waters I’ve seen
I. Loved. These. Mountains!
Monthly media intake:
- Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (OMG I love this show!! It makes me so happy)
Phewww, hope those were enough posts to keep you busy reading for a while! Now it’s time for me to finish the home stretch (4 more weeks of class, what?!) until I graduate. Thus, I’m trying to make the most of my time left in St. Louis. Any St. Louis locals have suggestions for what to eat/see/do?
Thanks for reading!
Since I’m such a visual person, I figured it only made sense to share interesting finds around the internet in pictures. Unless there are no pictures. Then you gotta suck it up and read whatever article I found interesting (ha). But the point is, I wanted to try sharing more things that I’m excited about – like really cool art, products, and videos in addition to the articles that I have been posting in the past. Hope you enjoy these as much as I did!
