It’s all Greek to Me: Artopolis Bakery

I normally don’t do full-on restaurant reviews because SO MANY people already do them and probably write better reviews than me (Yelp is wonderful). But I felt compelled to at least capture the ambiance of this one Greek bakery/cafe/agora we brunched at in Chicago because a) its decorations and pastries were so unbelievably pretty, and b) there weren’t many people in the restaurant at the time so I didn’t feel self-conscious taking photos. Now there’s the real reason… 😀

The restaurant was called Artopolis.

I especially liked the little stars on top of the Hazelnut-Mocha Butter Cakes. Ugh too cute.

Look at all the pretty colors!

It’d be incomplete without Greek wine.

What I had:

The crepes were filled with a sweet cream.

So excited to eat! (Photo courtesy of Tony)

The food was reasonably priced where everything on the brunch menu was <$10. Now can I go to Greece for more Greek food, please?

Where are your favorite places to eat or drink at in Chicago?

Thanks for reading!
